  • We are looking for a Director of Business Development to join our dynamic team and drive growth with leading marketers who are seeking to transform their marketing operations using data and technology. Reporting to the CEO, and working collaboratively with other senior team members as required, this role will operate remotely with occasional travel at key times in the sales cycle. The position offers a highly competitive package of an excellent base salary, generous performance-based bonus plan, and benefits.


  • Lead business development and client acquisition for Continuum – from prospecting through to contract
  • Generate new revenue by identifying and nurturing prospective clients to closure
  • Be a thought leader and “expert” in the marketing services industry so that you are viewed as a consultative partner and not a transactional seller
  • Work as an individual contributor, driving revenue growth by using general business acumen to uncover prospect business needs and identify how Continuum’s offerings can help prospects improve their business performance and drive growth
  • Prepare and deliver new business presentations that address the core business issues and opportunities faced by the prospect
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers in marketing, analytics, data and technology in prospective client organizations
  • Keep In touch with industry trends and personnel moves among prospect organizations
  • Negotiate and close contracts with client marketing and legal stakeholders


  • Must have a strong network of relationships and contacts (at a senior level) who you are comfortable contacting to explore needs-based solutions
  • Solid understanding of email marketing, ad tech, BPO, KPO, data & analytics, and marketing platforms
  • Your prospects view you as a consultative partner, not a transactional seller
  • An individual contributor driving significant revenue growth by using industry insight/expertise and business acumen to uncover prospect business needs and identify how marketing data solutions can help achieve their business goals
  • Understanding of complex and lengthy sales cycles and how to create achievable milestones and deliver meticulous follow-up
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to make compelling presentations to an audience of diverse and senior business stakeholders
  • Resourceful and can solve tough problems and invent solutions where none appear to exist
  • Persuasive and comfortable networking with and influencing key partners
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close deals


  • 8-10 years’ experience in a sales/hunter role selling into senior marketing and operations executives in large Fortune 2000 companies
  • 5+ years of sales experience in media, marketing or advertising/CRM related fields
  • KPO/BPO sales experience
  • Active and robust network of personal contacts in large marketing organizations who are C-Suite, VP or Director-level decision-makers
