POSITION SUMMARY

  • The Continuum Senior Program Manager for Digital Marketing will work with their client Google in London and report to the Continuum team in Silicon Valley. This person will collaborate with the YouTube Growth Marketing team to build cohesive marketing programmes across email, in-app, and push notification channels. The candidate will work collaboratively with a globally distributed team (including managing two members in London) to plan, build, launch, and analyse the performance of campaigns across platforms. They will also play a key role in building client and partnership relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience with large national/global brands, email marketing, data/analytics, marketing technologies and platforms.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, present, and execute a holistic messaging strategy across platforms (email/in-app/push notifications) based on YouTube’s lifecycle, cohort, and KPI priorities Create and enact a rigorous testing plan to continuously optimise the touchpoints after initial execution Establish a framework to integrate ad-hoc marketing campaigns within the ongoing communications plan Maintain comprehensible overview of all active and planned campaigns in the channels for YT leadership Conduct regular audits to maintain channel hygiene (ex: launch winning experiment treatments, stop underperforming campaigns, ensure language and locale coverage) Provide regular performance commentary describing channel impact to priority KPIs Maintain expertise of platform functionality in order to inform strategy Work with local Project Managers for campaign planning and execution CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT Play a key role in building client and partnership relationships
  • Shares responsibility for client retention by maintaining relationships and managing globally-based accounts in EMEA, APAC, and NA
  • Confer with client to provide information, answer questions or provide support
  • Respond to the needs of the client, decide which course of action to take, and execute that action without consultation or direction

  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple fast-paced projects with competing timelines
  • Self-sufficient and self-motivated, able to deliver at a high level even when working remotely
  • Comfortable in a technology-driven environment that requires the ability to quickly learn new technology
  • Numbers-driven with strong reporting and/or analytical skills to distill information for both technical and non-technical people
  • Exceptional work ethic, with a high level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a process and deadline driven environment and demonstrate enthusiasm towards colleagues and clients
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining long term strong client relationships
  • Experience working on large national/global brands
  • Experience in working within a globally distributed team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in email, in-app, or CRM marketing, Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Ability to identify better ways of working at scale through building new processes
  • Proven success record in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must be authorized to live/work in the UK
