  • The Senior Project Manager position is an exciting career opportunity for the right candidate to work on leading-edge global marketing programs for Google, collaborating with teams across several continents, as well as using cutting edge data and technology to support marketing campaigns across 40+ Google products. The Senior Project Manager for Digital Marketing will work collaboratively with a globally distributed team responsible for managing email marketing programs and campaigns from end-to-end, gathering requirements, defining project plans, and ensuring flawless campaign execution, identifying opportunities for future improvement, and also building budget estimates and forecasts for future initiatives. The candidate will play a key role in building client and partnership relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience with large national/global brands, email marketing, data/analytics, marketing technologies and platforms. The selected candidate will be embedded with the Google team at their Mountain View offices, reporting into the Continuum team in Silicon Valley.


  • Project manage and prioritize both B2B and B2C email marketing and other digital marketing campaigns ensuring flawless execution
  • Coordinate with and support globally-based client contacts and production team-members on email marketing campaign setup, testing, QA, and delivery
  • Responsible for project proposals, project scoping, planning, financial management, invoicing and forecast monitoring
  • Generates project proposals, cost, and timeline estimates based on requirements and input from team
  • Responsible for writing and routing SOWs and participating in RFPs
  • Provide creative and best practice recommendations for projects based on need
  • Responsible for escalating issues or risks associated with project pipeline, capacity and/or scope creep
  • Develops client presentations, including quarterly business reviews and conducts client training sessions
  • Generates new business within existing relationships by helping identify client’s business needs and determining appropriate levels of future support
  • Responsible for overall client satisfaction, retention and growth of client account
  • Responsible for managing 2-3 direct reports


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate project requirements, communicate project status, and interface with internal and external team members
  • Self-sufficient and self-motivated operator, able to deliver at a high level even when working in a remote environment Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple fast-paced projects with competing timelines
  • Ability to critically assess a project or process to identify improvement opportunities
  • High level of comfort in a technology-driven, fast-paced environment that requires the ability to quickly synthesize multiple sources of data and learn new technology
  • Numbers-driven with strong reporting and/or analytical skills to synthesize information for both technical and non-technical people
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to think outside the box and independently figure out how things work
  • Exceptional work ethic, with a high level of professionalism, reliability, attention to detail ability while performing under pressure
  • Team player with the ability to accomplish results as an active team member as well as on an individual basis
  • Strong desire to mentor more junior team members

  • Proven track record of building and maintaining long term strong client relationships


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in client services, account management, with a focus on email marketing working on large national/global brands
  • Subject matter expert with in-depth knowledge of email marketing
  • Proven success record in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to create and monitor KPIs
  • Experience in working within a globally distributed team
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Basic HTML Skills
  • Experience managing 2-3 direct reports
