With more than 20 years experience in the technology industry, Curtis Generous has been responsible for technology decisions, architecture, and for management of software development efforts of a number of large corporations.  With direct experience in both the public and private sector, and from start-ups to publicly traded companies, Curtis has applied his background in engineering, telecommunications, open-source systems, and software development practices to large and complex solutions for e-Marketers.

From 2006, as the CTO of Exmplar, Inc. a leading eMarketing solutions provider to Fortune 1000 retailers, Curtis led the development of the PAACE™ engine that provided a multi-channel, predictive data analytics driven platform to eMarketers.

In 2004, Curtis was the CTO and co-founder of XpressAlert, a multi-channel messaging system used for real-time, emergency notifications by state and local agencies, as well as a number of school districts.  The system today is actively used for alerts ranging from hurricane and flooding evacuation alerts, chemical spill notifications, to school closings and automated student absentee notification to parents.

In 2002, Curtis was SVP and CTO of TNS, Inc. (NYSE:TNSI), the leading provider of integrated data and voice services to leading organizations in the global payments and financial communities.   With presence in over 28 countries, TNS provides  a full range of communications services, from dedicated connections to managed IP network solutions, providing local support and global reach to medium and large enterprises and service providers.

From 1998 to 2001, Curtis was the co-founder of Outbounder, Inc., a provider of messaging solutions for the multi-channel marketer.  The Ranger™ platform was an industry leading, multi-channel, managed SaaS platform in use by clients in the retail and travel industries.

In 1986, Curtis co-founded UUcom, Inc., an Internet engineering firm of 90 engineers, which specialized in highly complex, large scale projects for multi-national clients entering in the new frontier of Internet based services. During his 13 year tenure at UUcom, Curtis was leading architect for many large projects ranging from custom email platforms for large ISPs, to eMarketing solutions for marketing agencies, to real time alert systems for financial traders.   

Curtis received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of California, and post-graduate work in Electrical Engineering from Loyola.

Curtis holds several patents relating to the messaging technologies, and  has published several articles in the field of Intelligent Gateway Processors.
